Thanks for visiting Mitrofania Pictures. I'm an experienced video producer with over two decades of experience! My company is named for a remote island near the Alaska Peninsula where I worked on a commercial fishing vessel as a teenager. I've produced hundreds of videos during my career and am excited to work with you to craft meaningful stories, to promote your mission, and together, make the world a better place!
My Story
I had an eclectic upbringing. My family moved ten times between the time I was born and the time I graduated from high school--from Arizona to Minnesota to Idaho to Alaska. Growing up with people in different communities, with different cultures, and different needs made a major impact on me. Today, my highest priority as a filmmaker is to create stories that promote empathy, understanding, conservation, health, and knowledge.

I'm an award-winning video producer and editor with 20+ years of experience leading full-cycle media production for broadcast, commercial, nonprofit, and digital platforms. Skilled in crafting emotionally resonant stories through expert scripting, cinematography, editing, and motion graphics. Adept at directing interviews, managing crews, and delivering content under tight deadlines with technical precision and creative vision. FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot with hands-on aerial cinematography experience—combining visual storytelling with dynamic production capabilities.

Today, I live in Utah, but the video content I create reaches around the world. In addition to video production, my hobbies include acting in community theater productions, playing drums and percussion in a community concert and jazz band, bicycling, snowboarding, and creating animation.
