AUDITIONS
Thank you so much for your interest in The Thorn Trees. I’m really looking forward to seeing your work. Please read through the following guidelines before submitting your audition:
WHAT TO PREPARE
​Access the audition sides (script segments) above. The sides may contain more than one scene, but you only need to perform ONE scene, per character. If you're auditioning for more than one character, you can do one or two scenes; indicate on your audition form the other roles you are interested in.

Video auditions ONLY! Due July 10, 2026 by 10:00 p.m.

Video submission must include:​

RECORDING YOUR AUDITION
A cell phone camera is completely fine
Use natural lighting if possible
Keep the framing simple (chest-up is great)
Focus on performance, not production quality

PERFORMANCE NOTES
You’re welcome to have someone read the other lines off-camera but you don’t have to—it's completely fine to perform only your character’s lines. You do not need to memorize perfectly—feel free to hold the script if needed.
HOW TO SUBMIT

Record your audition video

Upload to YouTube (unlisted link) or Vimeo (private link is fine)

Paste the link into the audition form where indicated

Complete the rest of the form and submit
FINAL NOTE
This is meant to be a low-pressure, creative process. I’m not looking for perfection—I’m looking for something real. If something in this story resonates with you, just bring that into your performance.
